South Africa

South Africa has become known as “a world in one country” and the KwaZulu Natal province offers year-round sunshine, a tropical climate and sea temperatures that continuously entice a myriad of activities - one of these being fishing and where an angler is certainly in “paradise”!!

The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park - a World Heritage Site - encompasses an astonishing diversity of lakes, swamps, mountains, coastal forests, unspoilt beaches and coral reefs. The marine reserve is either home to, or on regular migratory routes for humpback whales, ragged tooth sharks, whale sharks, tiger sharks, manta rays, marlin and giant morays - to name a few. Endangered leatherback turtles - the largest sea turtle - and loggerhead turtles use this coastline as their breeding ground.
