ESCORTED TOURS:

For all escorted tours, the price includes:

  • Economy class air travel on scheduled flights, First and Business supplements on application
  • transfers
  • shared twin room accommodation with private bathroom
  • full breakfasts; other meals as detailed in itineraries; welcome cocktail party
  • entrance charges on sightseeing tours
  • golf green fees
  • surface transport and domestic flights
  • farewell dinner and prize giving
  • porterage
  • services of a golf organiser throughout the tour
  • All the above as listed in the tour itineraries.

Items not included:

  • Insurance
  • laundry
  • meals (unless otherwise stated), beverages and drinks other than those mentioned above
  • caddy fees, additional golf or optional excursions
  • gratuities other than porterage
  • airport taxes, departure taxes.

Non-golfers can enjoy a very full holiday on our tours. There are numerous sightseeing excursions available which may be booked at short notice, interesting shops to explore and good swimming and sunbathing at most of the hotels. Flights – It is not possible to specify the aircraft type as these vary from time to time.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

It is essential that you have adequate insurance cover, in particular to cover you for medical expenses and cancellation costs.

BAGGAGE:

The free baggage allowance on most airlines is 20kg. per person and some airlines offer a special allowance for golf clubs. (Safari flights and some domestic flights also carry further restrictions). Hand baggage must be restricted to one small piece per person and should not weigh more than 5 kgs.

CLIMATE - SOUTH AFRICA:

The climate ranges from Mediterranean in the Western Cape to sub-tropical on the Natal coast: temperate conditions prevail on the highveld. Summers (November to April) are warm to hot and daytime temperatures vary between 70F to 85F. Humidity is low except along the Natal coast and Mpumalonga.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS:

All visitors to South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, Malaysia and Australia require full valid passports and must comply with the Immigration regulations. A British Visitor’s passport is insufficient . Passports should be valid for six months after the end of the holiday and must have two blank pages. Some other nationals may require visas. It is up to our clients to check this through the appropriate channels.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL CARE:

There are no compulsory health requirements for travel in South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Swaziland and Mauritius, Australia or Malaysia. However, for the northern game parks of Natal, Mpumulanga, the Kruger Park, throughout Zambia and some areas of Namibia and Swaziland, malaria prevention tablets are essential. Please consult your doctor nearer to the departure date as to the current health requirements.

CONSUMER PROTECTION:

The air holidays and flights in this brochure are ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 4204. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
