There has been a lot of interest in our Malaysian golfing holidays and with one or two small changes to our original itinerary, the new tour has to be one tour on your to do list! The Cameron highlands, Malaysia premier hill resort was attractive to the colonial British because of its cooler temperatures, explore the tea plantations, strawberry farms and nature trails .Return to Kuala Lumpur a garden city with plenty to see and do; frenetic Chinatown, the splendid Moorish architecture of the Petronas Twin Towers and excellent shopping on your doorstep. Explore behind the modern high rise exterior and discover a charming, colourful melting pot of Indian, Chinese and Malay cultures. Finally take a short flight to Tanjong Jara, this small luxury beach resort set in a secluded location on the east coast of Malaysia The hotel has extensive grounds on a long sandy beach and offers an unforgettable experience. All the hotels featured have award winning spa facilities’

Day 1:

Arrive Kuala Lumpur and depart to the countryside making a short stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter factory. Observe how pure tin, antimony and copper are fashioned into exquisite and stylish items like tableware, jewellery and dinner sets. After this, we proceed to the Batu Caves, a huge limestone outcrop that houses some very ornate Hindu temples. We will then proceed on a journey to the Cameron Highlands. Set amidst tea plantations and rolling hills, this tranquil boutique hideaway promises all the splendour, romance and nostalgia of Cameron Highlands’ grand colonial heritage. Rest of the afternoon and evening is at leisure. 4 nights at Cameron Highlands Resort, breakfast included.

Day 2:

Golf at the Cameron Highlands; This golf course just across the road of the Cameron Highlands Resort is a public course and as the fee is minimal we have not included it in the cost. Alternatively, guests can go for a half-day tour of Cameron Highlands visiting a tea plantation, a tea factory, a vegetable farm and the market square. Further two days at leisure .

Day 5:

Depart the Cameron Highlands for Kuala Lumpur where you will spend the next three nights at an excellent hotel in the heart of the city, close to a vast selection of shops and restaurants. Balance of the day at leisure. 3 nights at Ritz Carlton Hotel, breakfast included.

Day 6:

Golf at the famous 36 hole KL Golf & Country Club. Designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright this championship course is exclusive to members and their guests. Afternoon at leisure

Day 7:

Half day Kuala Lumpur city tour to include the Petronas Twin Towers (the worlds tallest twin building), the Kings Palace and Parliament, Royal Salangor Pewter factory and a Malaysian batik cottage. You will also be visiting the country’s oldest Chinese temple.

Day 8:

Depart Kuala Lumpur after breakfast for the two hour drive south to Malacca, a world heritage city. A full day tour of Malacca is an adventure through more than 600 years of history. The city founded by the Portuguese, the Dutch followed and later the English. There is a mixed cultured ethnic group of people who still exists in Malacca today known as The Peranakans. During the 14th century, there were many Chinese traders arriving into the city who remained and married local Malay woman. After lunch you will have time to stroll along antique row known as Jonker Street. There is a vast array of shops, art galleries and souvenir shops to explore before you head to you hotel. 2 nights at Majestic Malacca Hotel, breakfast and lunch included today.

Day 9:

Golf at Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club; designed to give you a golfing experience that is not only true to the traditions of this great game, but also to the heritage of this traditionrich city. The result is a sanctuary of timeless beauty and space. Afternoon at leisure, lunch and dinner own expense.

Day 10:

Depart Malacca to KL Airport for a short flight to Terengganu. On arrival you will be transferred to Tanjong Jara Resort a small luxury traditional Malay style resort located near Dungun, 69 km north of Kuala Terengganu. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 11:

You have a choice of three public courses in the area; Tasik Puteri Bukit Besi Golf Course, Desa Dungun and The gem of the east Tuanku Mizan Golf and Country Resort – We have not included golf here to give you total flexibility. Transport can be arranged through the hotel concierge and the fees are very reasonable. Balance of your stay at leisure.

Day 15:

Depart Tanjong Jara Resort to Kuala Lumpur International Airport where you will connect with your international flight home.

This tour is suitable for couples or a group of friends and can easily be tailored to suite your individual requirements.
