Namibia is a country of startling contrasts that saddles two great deserts: the Namib is the oldest desert on the planet, and its sea of red sand lies along the Atlantic coastline, while in the eastern interior lies the Kalahari that sprawls across the border into neighboring countries. A land of vast open landscapes, blue skies, sun-drenched weather and tranquil starry nights. Day 1:

Depart early evening from London Heathrow on South African Airways direct flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2:

Take a connecting flight to Windhoek, you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Windhoek. Exceptional service, superb accommodation and a tranquil desert setting has made the Windhoek Country Club the premier destination in Namibia. You have the balance of the day to relax or if you wish to brush up on your golfing skills the club has a driving range and practice green. 3 nights Windhoek Country Club breakfast included.

Day 3 & 4:

These two days are set aside for two rounds of golf at the Windhoek Golf Course. This is a super 18-hole golf-course of international standard, included in the yearly pro’s Sunshine Circuit, of South Africa and Namibia. The Capital of Namibia – Windhoek, is an incredibly interesting town to explore.

Day 5 & 6:

This morning you will be chartered by light aircraft over the Naukluft Mountains into the Namib Desert. Sossusvlei Lodge is situated at the entrance gate to the Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, renowned for the highest dunes in the world. Your luxurious accommodation is under canvas with adobe-style plaster walls and en-suite facilities. The lodge offers a restaurant, al fresco terrace, floodlit waterhole and swimming pool. The adventure centre offers various activities such as ballooning, nature drives, quad-biking, scenic flights and more. We have included a full days sightseeing to include the breathtaking highlights Sossusvlei, Dead Pan, Dune 45 as well as a visit to the Sesriem Gorge. 2 nights Sossusvlei Lodge includes dinner and breakfast.

Day 7:

Charter by light aircraft over the Sossusvlei Dunes and the Namib Desert to the Skeleton Coast and then north over an old ship-wreck, derelict diamond mines as well as seal colonies over Walvis Bay and onto Swakopmund. Rössmund Lodge sits on the northern banks of the Swakop River and forms part of the Rössmund Golf Course some 6 kms from Swakopmund. All chalets are en-suite with fire place, satellite TV and a private patio. There is a complimentary shuttle service into town should you wish to try one of the many wonderful fish restaurants. The lodge attracts springbok from the desert and a huge variety of bird species from the coastal area. 3 nights Rossmund Lodge includes breakfast.

Day 8 & 9:

Two days of golf on this genuine desert golf course! Even though the rough is just sand, this golf course is superbly maintained with grass fairways and fantastic greens. One of only a few real desert golf courses in the world! The resident coach will be more than happy to offer his services, pass on some of his tips and do a little coaching on his local course.

Day 10:

You have the morning at leisure prior to your transfer to Walvis Bay Airport for your flight from Windhoek to Johannesburg connecting onto Heathrow or extend your holiday to South Africa, Botswana or Victoria Falls.
