
Botswana
Botswana has one of the strongest economies in Africa, which is driven by diamond mining, tourism, manufacturing and agriculture and enjoy a thriving economy. The wildlife and wilderness areas are amongst the finest in the world evoking that special African experience. 17% of the land in Botswana is reserved for national parks and game reserves and 20% has been designated wildlife management areas. These unique and diverse eco system combine to offer an opportunity to experience the vastness and the splendour of this unspoilt land.
Although distances are often long in travelling from place to place, the rewards are greater. Nowhere else in Africa will you find such an abundance of wildlife, birds and reptiles. Each environment offers a special eco-system supported by the dynamics of water, food and climate
Climate - Summer : October to March
, with temperatures soaring to more than 40 degrees at midday. The rains
come between September and April, especiallyin December and January.
Highest rainfall( up to 650mm) is in Chobe in the north-east. Lowest
rainfall is in the south -west.
