Namibia

Located on the south west coast of Africa, Namibia truly is a natural land of amazing contrasts. The spectacular landscapes range from deserts including the famous Kalahari to the rugged coastline of the Skeleton Coast. Namibia is host to the second largest Canyon in the world, Fish River Canyon and in addition boasts one of Africa’s largest game reserves The Etosha National Park, home of the lion, elephant, giraffe and numerous other animals.

Perhaps the most famous image of Namibia is the surreal red sand dunes of Sossusvlei.

sossusvlei For those looking for nightlife, the best place to head is Namibia’s playground, Swakopmund, famed also for its array of soft adventure activities. A place to play all day and party all night.

Namibia is a vast country and self-drive is a popular option for the visitor. Roads are excellent and driving is on the left, ideal for the UK traveller.
