This tour offers comfortable four star accommodation throughout, without

Day
1: Depart early evening from London Heathrow on South African Airways
flight to Johannesburg.
Day 2: On arrival in Johannesburg, connect with your flight to Durban.
You will be met and transferred to Selborne Lodge for a six nights stay.
Selborne is a sub-tropical retreat on the edge of the warm Indian Ocean
only 30 minutes south of Durban. The rest of the day is at leisure. PM.
Welcome Cocktail Party. 6 nights at Selborne Lodge including breakfast.
Day 3: Golf at Selborne; rated as one of the top ten courses in South
Africa – built on natural undulating terrain with superb views
of the countryside and the sea.
Day 4: Day tour down to the Wild Coast Sun for golf. The Wild Coast
Sun Country Club is a rugged beauty of a course. It has wide fairways
and huge greens, attract golfers of all levels. Wild Coast Sun Country
Club is one of South Africa's most testing layouts, renowned American
golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jnr has created a dramatic
golfing experience overlooking the Ocean.
Day 5: Golf at umdoni; designed by Sid Brews, this 18 hole course is
one of the hidden treasures of the South Coast. The course is situated
in 200 hectares of indigenous coastal forest and is renowned for its
magnificent sea views and abundance of fauna and flora.
Day 6: Free or optional golf at Selborne
Day 7: Golf at Durban Country Club; since the time it was first shaped
from the bush and dunes of the KwaZulu-Natal coast during the early 1920’s,
the Durban Country Club course achieved and maintained an excellence
that keeps it at the forefront of South Africa’s top golf courses.
The course has been updated on occasion but basically the Durban Country
Club has remained unchanged since 1922. PM tour of Durban City.
Day 8: After breakfast, we depart Durban and fly to George. On arrival
in George we transfer to Knysna and check into St James for a six nights
stay. The St. James of Knysna is an exclusive, owner run, five star country
house hotel uniquely situated directly on the shores of the famous Knysna
Lagoon. The luxuriously appointed rooms offer spectacular views across
this peaceful lagoon to the dramatic Knysna Heads or over the magnificent
3 acre gardens. 6 nights at St James of Knysna including breakfast.
Day 9: Golf at Simola; the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course on
the Garden Route, Simola reflects the great maestro's philosophy of attuning
the layout and design to the natural lie of the land. Keeping your head
down at Simola can be a challenge; simply because the views around the
course are awe-inspiring, it is clear to see why Simola takes its place
as one of South Africa's premier golfing destinations.
Day
10: Full day tour to Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma. We will be taking
a scenic drive via Plettenberg Bay to Tsitsikamma forest, Storms River
bridge and Natures Valley.
Day 11: Golf at Pezula; situated on the rolling hills between the Knysna
lagoon and the rocky cliffs of the Indian Ocean. The area known as the
East Heads has become the site of 18 spectacular championship holes of
golf. The Scottish "linksstyle" course; designed by Ronald
Fream and David Dale, features cool-season grasses and five different
tee placements to satisfy, challenge and reward all golfers.
Day 12: Golf at Oubaai; Oubaai promises a golfing experience comparable
to the best the world has to offer. Bordered by a river valley, the clear,
warm water of the Indian Ocean and woodlands, Oubaai presents the perfect
site for this championship golf course.
Day 13: Free day
Day 14: This morning we head for Cape Town, making our way from Knysna
via Wilderness, George, Mossel Bay and several little towns along the
famous Garden Route. We will make a stop for some lunch in Swellendam
and then on to Cape Town. You will be spending six nights at The Andros.
The Andros is a gracious Cape Dutch style boutique hotel, originally
built in 1908. Restored and updated, carefully preserving its old-world
charm, the house is set in large, mature park-like gardens in the heart
of Claremont, one of Cape Town’s beautiful southern suburbs. The
manor house is furnished in an elegant and traditional style, complementing
the original features in this beautiful graceful home. 6 nights at The
Andros including breakfast.
Day 15: Golf at Westlake; this course is nestled in the crescent of
the Steenberg/Silvermine mountains and is characterised by the towering
trees lining most of the fairways.
Day 16: Golf at De Zalze; another Peter Matkovich designed course,
set amongst the De Zalze Winelands with the most stunning setting and
a course that places a premium on accuracy. De Zalze’s fairways
are surrounded by vineyards, olive groves & lavender fields, which
will all produce marketable crops for the Kleine Zalze Estate.
Day
17: Free day
Day 18: Golf at Royal Cape; the oldest club in South Africa. It was
given its Royal title in 1910 after a visit by the Duke of Connaught.
The course is essentially a flat parkland course, with lovely views of
the surrounding mountains. The narrow fairways demand extreme accuracy
off the tee, wayward shots are penalised by trees and the greens are
well bunkered.
Day 19: Golf at Milnerton; a regular host to PGA events including the
South African Open, the course boasts picture postcard views of Table
Mountain across the bay from almost every hole. A seaside course surrounded
by natural beauty and is a challenge to even the most experienced golfer
- especially when the prevailing South Easter, affectionately known as
the "Cape Doctor" - makes her house calls in the summer months!
Evening farewell dinner.
Day 20: Most of the day is free to relax, late afternoon transfer to
the airport for your flight to Johannesburg connecting with your onward
flight to London Heathrow.

21: Arrive London Heathrow.
