LE ROYAL MERIDIEN BEACH RESORT AND SPA
This modern luxury resort overlooks the Arabian Gulf and combines excellent service with the aquamarine waters and golden sands of Jameira Beach. Only a short drive from the airport and close to Emirates Golf Course it is ideally located. The resort comprises three distinct buildings: the main building offering Deluxe Seaview rooms, and Suites, The Club Building with Seaview Rooms and the Royal Towers offering the ultimate in luxury. Recreational facilities include: Watersports, floodlit tennis courts, three pools, children’s club, Spa and Health Club, fitness centre and Roman style Hammam pool complex. The resort offers an outstanding choice of sumptuous dining options across 14 restaurants and bars.

PARK HYATT DUBAI
This luxurious waterfront retreat is located adjacent to the world famous Dubai Golf and Yacht Club just 20 minutes drive from the airport and close to the city centre. One of the smaller hotels in Dubai, all rooms have balconies or terraces with stunning views across Dubai Creek. This hotel stood out from the many hotels we visited, for its tranquil setting and friendly attentive service. All rooms are luxuriously appointed with walk in wardrobes, spacious elegant bathrooms separate showers internet access and plasma TV’s. The Amara Spa has eight treatment rooms with private garden and rejuvenating rain shower. There is a state of the art fitness studio and a 25metre pool and a choice of six restaurants and bars.

DAR AL MASYAF – MADINAT JUMEIRAH
Dar Al Masyaf offers a more intimate hideaway, inspired by the traditional courtyard summer houses of ‘Old Arabia’, and represents the premium accommodation at Maninat Jumeria (a resort with two additional hotels). Dar Al Masyaf is presented as a stunning collection of beautifully designed, stand alone, two story houses. There are 18 Arabian Summer Houses with garden views and 11Gulf Summer Houses with stunning views across the Ocean. Each Summer House consists of 10 luxurious rooms and suites, each offering incredibly spacious accommodation. All have private balconies or terraces and offer outstanding luxury including a private butler. The resort has several pools, Health club, wonderful spa, sauna and steam rooms and an Arabian Souk with 75 outlets. GOLF
Dubai Creek; runs alongside the stretch of water from which it takes its name. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is an 18-hole golf resort and is a true golfers’ paradise, which in November 2005 was voted one of the top 100 must play golf courses in the world by UK magazine Golf World. Recently redesigned by European Golf Design in association with Thomas Björn, the course offers well-groomed fairways lined with palms, attractive water hazards and shrubbery that lend a distinctly tropical and secluded air, despite its city centre location.

Emirates Golf Club; it became the first all-grass championship golf course in the Gulf region, way back in 1988. And so it remains to this day, even though many have followed in its footsteps. His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s brainchild still inspires awe amongst all who play its verdant green golf courses, as well as those who simply visit its unique and ageless clubhouse. The Club sports two championship golf courses, extensive recreational facilities and fine dining - enough to satisfy the most discerning of visitors.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club; a unique concept and a wonderful Baker-Finch design in association with Dirk Bouts. They spent many days on site walking through the sand dunes with the camels before deciding on the best use of this unique property. You can’t fail to enjoy the natural desert terrain and landscape, a true desert style course similar to those found in Palm Springs, California and Scottsdale, Arizona in this beautiful desert setting. The natural flow of the holes through the sand dunes and wonderful desert landscape. Many of the holes incorporate some of the truly great design concepts throughout the history of golf course architecture. Golf at Arabian Ranches will excite you back for more!
