Day 1 Overnight flight from Heathrow to Cape Townon South African Airways Economy Class.

Day 2 On arrival at Cape Town International, met and transfered to the Commodore Hotel. Spend three nights at The COMMODORE HOTEL, in a standard room to include breakfast.

Day 3 This morning your guide will collect you at 0930 for a full day private tour of the Cape Peninsular, taking in the scenic drive through Camps Bay, Hout Bay onto Cape Point and returning via Boulders Beach to see the penguins, Simonstown, Fishhoek, Constantia and possibly Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before returning to you hotel.

Day 4 At 09h00 this morning your car hire - a group v – Toyota Condor or similar will be delivered to your hotel.

Day 5 After breakfast you will be making your way to Franschhoek to spend two nights at RUSTHOF COUNTRY HOUSE, in a standard room on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 6 This morning enjoy a game of golf at BOSCHENMEER GOLF COURSE.

Day 7 Make your way to Knysna to spend three nights at the ST JAMES OF KNYSNA in a deluxe rooms including breakfast.

Day 9 Enjoy a round of golf at the KNYSNA GOLF COURSE.

Day 10 This morning, after breakfast, make your way to George Airport, drop off your hire car and check in for your flight to Durban. On arrival in Durban, collect your hire car and make your way to CLEOPATRA MOUNTAIN FARMHOUSE. Accommodation in a luxury room on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 11 Today you will be heading for CATHEDRAL PEAK HOTEL in the Northern Drakensberg to spend two nights in a deluxe room on a dinner bed and breakfast basis.

Day 13 After breakfast you will be making your way to BABANANGO VALLEY LODGE. Here you will spend the next two nights in a standard room o a full board basis.

Day 14 After breakfast this morning you will be taking a full day battlefield tour to The Battlefield of Isandlwana & Rorkes Drift. Follow the line of advance of the Zulu's, towards Isandlwana stopping at various places along the way. At Isandlwana the battle is graphically described after which there is time to walk around the battlefield to take in the moving atmosphere. The picnic lunch is usually taken in the shade of the trees at Rorke's Drift before walking around the battlefield and seeing different perspectives while the Battle is described visit the memorials and the excellent museum before returning. Duration:+- 7hours.

Day 15 Today you will be making you way to PHINDA GAME RESERVE. You will be spending two nights on a full board basis to include four game drives during your stay. Arrive in time for a late lunch and some spare time to relax and freshen up prior to the departure of your first game drive at around 1600. Please do take a warm jacket with you; it can become quite cold on the open vehicle once the sun goes down. A stop will be made for sundowners, thereafter game viewing will be by means of a spotlight for detecting the nocturnal animals, arrive back in camp at round 2000 for dinner. Morning game drive: departs at around 06h00. Afternoon / evening game drive will depart at around 16h30. The average game drives are 3 – 4 hours. Day 16 Your ranger will discuss the departure time of the early morning game drive which is normally around 0630, he will arrange your wake up call for around 0600. Light refreshments will be available before you head out on the game drive. Although it will be very early the light at this time of day is wonderful for photography and the game viewing is at its best. Arrive back in camp for breakfast at around 0900 (time depends on the quality of the game viewing). You will have the opportunity to take a guided bush walk after breakfast, or you can relax at the pool until lunchtime.

Day 17 After your morning game drive and breakfast, you will be making your way along the N2 towards Durban - ZIMBALI LODGE which is close to Ballito. Accommodation is in a luxury room on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 18 This morning have a game of golf at ZIMBALI GOLF COURSE.

Day 19 You will have most of the day at leisure before making your way back to Durban Airport, drop off your hired car and check in for your flight to Johannesburg and onwards to Heathrow.

Day 20 Arrive in the United Kingdom

The cost for the above is in the region of £3200 per person excluding airport taxes. We will gladly reajust the cost for non golfers.
