Mauritius - year round un-escorted holiday
Mauritius is surely the ultimate tropical island destination, with
its stunning white sandy beaches and turquoise waters enhanced by the
finest beach resorts that know the true meaning of the word ‘luxury’.
Whilst the island is undoubtedly small and remote, one can expect the
very highest international standards.
Visitors usually tend to find all
they want in the resort themselves, although you may enjoy a catamaran
trip or shopping excursion to the capital Port Louis. Deep-sea fishing
always features high on the agenda, with tropical gardens, bird parks,
lakes and volcanoes available for those more interested in fauna and
flora. Mauritius is a year round destination, although expect increased
temperatures and rainfall between January and April.
At the south westerly
tip of The Island lies the peninsula of Le Morne, where two distinctly
different hotels enjoy a stunning location, sheltered from the trade
winds. The Dinarobin and the Paradis are situated alongside one another
on the same glorious 7 km stretch of fine, white velvet beach and each
enjoys a unique and contrasting character of its own.
Paradis is the
livelier of the two hotels, guests here will find excellent facilities
for recreation, with plenty of activities if you wish to rejuvenate and
reenergise. The cuisine is exceptional and varied with a choice of seven
restaurants to choose from along the peninsula.
Exciting water sports
include exhilarating water skiing, wind surfing and what is undoubtedly
the finest game fishing available in Mauritius. The clear waters of the
coral protected bay on the peninsula are also excellent for snorkelling
and scuba diving, with an abundance of colourful underwater life to observe.
Adjacent to the Paradis is a spectacular 18 hole golf course. The course
itself is just 5 minutes walk from the beach and reception. A number
of holes run along the ocean and in fact on 5 of the holes you will be
challenged to play over the ocean. In addition to playing the Paradis
course, the hotel is affiliated with two additional courses, Golf du
Chateaux to the south, and from November, Tamarina Golf Resort will be
open and only 20 minutes drive to the north.
The Paradis has a luxurious
choice of accommodation; from spacious suites with alluring views to
the flexibility and informality of a private beach villa, where guests
are free to combine all the convenience of first-class hotel service
with personal choice and time to themselves as they wish. A valet helps
villa guests to organise everything from meals and shopping to a full
maid service.
We are delighted to offer a 10 nights package in a superior
room on a half board basis, flight with Air Mauritius in economy class,
private transfer to the hotel and three complimentary rounds of golf
at Paradis from £1725 per person sharing including taxes - subject
to availability and date of travel.
Mauritius combines very easily with
South Africa or Dubai. Please give Glynis a call to discuss up graded
accommodation, flights and two centre options
