Day 01: Delhi in Delhi
Welcome to the capital city of India. Delhi - the city of Tower blocks, temples, forts, mosques, colonial mansions. Check in to your hotel. Later proceed for a tour of Delhi – visiting the President's Palace, Loka Sabha, India Gate, Raj Path, Qutb Minar, and the Red Fort. Return to the hotel for overnight accommodation .
Day 02: Delhi - Agra 200 kms / 4 hrs
After breakfast drive to Agra - once the capital city of India under the Mughals. On arrival check in to your hotel. A tour of the city will include: The Taj Mahal - the zenith of Mughal architecture and quite simply one of the world's most marvellous monuments. During the afternoon you shall visit Fhatepur sikri, an old city built between 1569 to1585 by the great Moghal emperor Akbar. Now deserted, it almost perfectly preserved. Overnight in Agra.
Day 03: Agra - Jaipur 230 kms / 5 hrs
After breakfast drive to Jaipur - popularly known as "Pink City of India" on arrival check in to the hotel. Afternoon tour of Jaipur City and visit City Palace, Hawa Mahal. Jantar Mantar. Time to relax or go around down town and so some shopping etc. overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast visit to Amber Fort - on the crest of a Rocky hill behind Maota Lake, 11 kms from Jaipur. Visit the Amber fort and Palace and you can also go for a Elephant ride till the top of the fort. Afternoon and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Jaipur
Day 05: Jaipur - Mandawa 200 kms / 4 hrs
After breakfast leave for Mandawa, Later in the afternoon visit Mandawa Fort, explore the most important havelis: Gulan rai haveli is famous for its erotic images, Binsidhar Newatia Haveli is known for its curious paintings, Chokhani, Ladia and saraf havelis and temple of Shiva. Back to hotel in the evening and overnight.
Day 06: Mandawa - Bikaner 280 kms / 5 hrs
After breakfast drive to Bikaner, a city that goes back over 500 years when it was founded by one of the princes of Jodhpur. Half day Bikaner sight seeing tour taking in Junagarh Fort, visit the two out standing palaces of Bikener - Lalgarh Palace and Gajner Palace, Camel Breeding farm and Deshnok temple. Evening will free for your shopping - visit local handicraft shops. Overnight. In Bikaner.
Day 07: Bikaner - Jaiselmer 320 kms / 6 hrs
After breakfast depart for Jaiselmer, a jewel of the Indian desert. Arrive Jaiselmer around 1600hrs. check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Evening take small walk around the town. In fact the streets do seem like walker's dream - no traffic, no cows and clean lanes. Visit Gadsisar Lake, ludrava, Aakal and Jaiselmer Fort. Overnight.
Day 08: Jaiselmer
After breakfast depart to sand dunes for overnight stay in Swiss tents in the heart of the deserts. Enjoy bonfire dinner along with Rajasthani traditional dances.
Day 09: Jaiselmer - Jodhpur 285 kms / 5 hrs
After breakfast leave for Jodhpur, also known as Sun City. On arrival check in at your hotel. Later proceed for tour of Jodhpur: visiting Mehrungarh Fort, Jaswanth Thada, Sardar market and Balsamand Lake. Overnight in Jodhpur hotel.
Day 10: Jodhpur - Mumbai
After breakfast depart and board your flight back to Mumbai/your onward destination.
