Day
1: Overnight direct flight from London Gatwick to Windhoek International
Airport
Day 2: Windhoek From Windhoek, head south through desert shrub
savannah to a lodge/guest farm close to the Kalahari Desert for the first
evening. A beautiful site where the bungalows are built on top of the
dunes! Guided & self-drive option: Bagatelle Kalahari Desert Lodge
- dinner & breakfast
Day 3: Namib Naukluft Park After breakfast, travel
west via Malthohe to the Namib Desert for the next two nights. A late
afternoon nature drive or walk is recommended, especially at sunset!
Guided & self-drive option: Sossusvlei Lodge - dinner & breakfast
Day 4: SOSSUSVLEI / DUNE 45 / SESRIEM A whole day is set aside in this
beautiful area with an early morning rise to drive to the beautiful Sossusvlei
area where most of the morning will be spent on dune climbing, photography
and to visit the amazing Dead Pan. A stunning area, especially early
morning! Guided & self-drive option: Sossusvlei Lodge - dinner & breakfast
Days 5 & 6: Swakopmund / Walvis Bay / Flamingoes Head west to the
gravel plains of the Namib to visit the amazing prehistoric Welwitschia
plants and Moonlandscape before arriving at the German colonial style
town of Swakopmund. The first morning is set aside for an excursion to
the Walvis Bay lagoon where a wide range of birds such as flamingoes,
pelicans and waders can be seen. The afternoon is free to spend in Swakopmund.

Dolphin boat cruise at Walvis Bay - Dune 4X4 quad biking etc All options:

Day 7:
Skeleton Coast / Cape Cross / Spitzkoppe Head north along the Skeleton
Coast to the breeding seal colony (80000-100000) at Cape Cross, stop
over at the Lichen Fields as well as a salt pan. A walk along this section
of the Skeleton Coast is wonderful where one can enocounter seals as
well as jackal on the beach! Guided & self-drive

Day 8: Okahandja / Wood
Carvers Market From here, travel east to the central Namib to visit the
beautiful Spitzkoppe Granite outcrops close to Usakos.before heading
on to Okahandja and the wood carvers market. Guided & self-drive
option: Okapuka Lodge - dinner & breakfast
Day 9: After breakfast
travel on to Windhoek visiting the wood carvers market along the way.

Gatwick
The cost for the above is in the region of £2515.00 per
person (guided based on two passengers) and £1298.00 per person
(self -drive)
Includes : Economy Class flights with Air Namibia, Accommodation,
meals and transfers as above. Please note that the above costs excludes
airport taxes and car hire with the self drive option. We can gladly
cost this itinerary to include flight upgrades and your choice of vehicle
should you opt for the self drive option. Discounts apply on guided tours
