South Africa - Game Safari

Finch Hattons is extremely excited about the launch of a brand new luxury safari option that has never previously been offered. They have, in conjunction with Sabi Sabi, Lion Sands, Kirkmans Kamp, Savanna and Exeter/Dulini, put together a luxury 5-day walk in the Sabi Sand Reserve, South Africa.

Over the period of 5 days you will stay at 5 different luxury lodges, each morning walking from the one lodge to the next one in the itinerary with your luggage being taken ahead to greet you upon arrival. The emphasis on the walks will be to experience quality wildlife sightings on foot. These walks are about enjoying nature up close and personal, unhurried and undisturbed. They are not endurance hikes. Each morning's walk will broken at the midway mark for a sumptuous bush breakfast.

Late each afternoon you get to experience an open-vehicle safari, followed by sundowners and a spotlight-assisted night drive before returning to the lodge for dinner under the stars. Each walk will be led by an extremely experienced guide hand picked especially for these unique safaris. In addition to this a ranger from each lodge will accompany the walk while walking on that specific lodge's property, ensuring that there are always two guides with the group. No more than eight guests will be taken on each walk.

The luxury walking safaris are offered in the cooler months of May through to September and depart on Sundays and end on Fridays.

The following are the departure dates set aside for these walks: 27th of May; 17th of June, 22nd of July, 19th of August and the 16th of September. 

Cost: From £1875.00 per person
Including return economy class flights from London Heathrow, 5 nights luxury accommodation, all meals, guided walks and game drives
Groups of 8 people are able to request different dates, as well as 3 day walks but will be subject to availability constraints.
