Day 1
Arrive in Jaipur Arrive at Jaipur. Check in at hotel. Afternoon tour of the historic, old walled city of Jaipur. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, constructed in the 1700's, it looks futuristic and almost surrealistic even today. A tour of the city palace & museum which offer a rare combination of the finest blends of Rajasthani & Mughal architectures, a dedicated collection of royal costumes, armoury, guns, old paintings, dresses, articles of use at the royal households etc. a visit to the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. An unmistakable landmark of Jaipur, which conjures up several romantic images in the minds of the onlooker. Back to the hotel and overnight.
Day 2
Jaipur Breakfast at your Jaipur hotel followed by a half day city tour which was by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this pink city is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. Ascend to the hilltop fortress at Amber on a gaily-caparisoned elephant. Back to Hotel and rest of the day free at leisure for shopping and other activities. Overnight.
Day 3
Jaipur - Jodhpur 343 kms / 6 hrs After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jodhpur also know as "Sun City" enroute visit the famous temples of Pushkar and the holy dargah - Ajmer Sharief. Arrive in Jodhpur and check in to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 4
Jodhpur Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sight seeing tour of the Marwar capital. From the imposing Meherangarh Fort to the delicately wrought Jharokhas of the havelis, the citadel has some of the finest examples of Rajput masonry. At the foot of the fort lies the Jaswant Thada, a richly carved white marble cenotaph. Take an afternoon jeep safari to the picturesque Bishnoi villages to experience rustic Rajasthani life. The drive through the countryside abounds with black buck and chinkaras grazing serenely, and migratory birds dot the skies. Overnight.
Day 5
Jodhpur - Udaipur 335 kms / 6 hrs After breakfast leave for Udaipur enroute visit Ranakpur, one of the five holy places of Jain community, the most important temple is dedicated to Rishabhjii and sprawls to some to 48,000 sq. ft. and has 29 halls and 1444 pillars, all distinctively carved. Arrive Udaipur late in the evening, check in to your hotel.
Day 6
Udaipur After breakfast you begin with a morning excursion to Eklingaji and Nagda. Spend the rest of the day exploring this charming lake city by car. Wander through the opulent city palace grounds and museum, a testament to the valour and chivalry of the Mewar rulers. Visit Jagdish temple on the shores of Lake Pichola, the Bharatiya Loka Kala Mandir, a treasure house of the Rajasthani folk culture, and "Saheliyon ki Bari" the breathtaking beauty of the lakes - Pichola and Fatheh Sagar - truly makes Udaipur an oasis of desert. Back to hotel and overnight.
Day 7
Udaipur - Home After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport/station for your journey to home.
