DAY 1Fly HEATHROW/CAIRO You will be met on arrival and transferred to the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL where you will spend the next 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis in a deluxe Nile view room. DAY 2Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure. Afternoon private tour of the Cairo Museum and the “old bazaars” - Khan El Khalile. Entrance fee to the museum is included. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight at the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL. DAY 3Transfer to Cairo airport and fly to Aswan where you will be met and transferred to the SONESTA STAR GODDESS – in a Mozart suite. Full board + scheduled excursions/entrance fees included. Lunch on board DAY 4Early morning set sail for Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple – dedicated to the medicine god of Haroeris and the crocodile god, Sobek. Sail on to Edfu DAY 5Early morning visit to the West Bank which includes the valley of Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and stopping at the Colossi of Memnon. DAY 6Transfer to the airport and fly from Luxor to Cairo and spend the night at the MENA HOUSE HOTEL. Here you have a pyramids view room in the old part of the hotel (the original hunting lodge) – breakfast included. The transfer driver will advise where to meet in the evening for your transfer to the Sound & Lights show staged at the pyramids – tickets included. Transfer back to the hotel for overnight bed and breakfast accommodation. DAY 7Full day tour of the Stepps pyramids at Sakkara and the original capital of Memphis before going on to view the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx. The Solar Boat museum, which is close to the pyramids of Cheopps, is not included but well worth seeing so suggest you pay the entrance fee approx. £50.00 per person, to view the funeral baroque. Entrance fees to any of the pyramids are also not included. Overnight bed and breakfast accommodation at the MENA HOUSE HOTEL. DAY 8Transfer to the airport and fly CAIRO/HEATHROW |
