Our favourite lodge was actually Ulusaba Safari Lodge: not because of the room or staff (both were fantastic up at Rock Lodge) but because the animals were coming right up to the deck!  Just before we went into the River Room four elephants were drinking at our room's plunge pool! Our last game drive was the best of the lot - the other guests had gone so it was just us, the ranger and tracker - we saw the Cheetah!!!!!!  The guys at Rock Lodge were so very kind and arranged a special meal in their "cave" to celebrate our honeymoon and there were rose petals and candles etc waiting for us back in the room - what a lovely final evening up there.

Once again, many thanks, you were brilliant.

Many thanks for arranging my holiday of a lifetime.  I mentioned what I would like to do: with a long stay to walk and explore the exciting city of Sydney. Seeing in the New Year and swimming at Bondi Beach on New Years Day! Then moving on to explore the amazing island of Tasmania. Walking the Cradle Mountain overland trek and finally staying and walking with the Tasmanian Aborigines along the Bay of Fires.  They were so happy to share their culture and beautiful coastline.  Walking and swimming along miles of unspoilt beach, listening to their stories and sharing amazing local produce and Tasmanian wine, whilst staying in award winning architectural accommodation.  Amazingly I was the only Brit on these walks, it certainly my idea of heaven. Thanks to Tailor Made Holidays for making the whole trip so effortless. Everything went to plan and was the perfect holiday.

We had a fabulous time. Thank you. 

Graeme, Robert and Bethan all managed to get to the summit of Kilimanjaro and said the team who looked after them were fantastic. 

All the arrangements worked well and we loved both the Safari camps. Lewa was very scenic with great views over Mount Kenya and had masses of rhino. Elephant Pepper had a lot more game and lions. We took a trip into the Masai Mara main park and saw the wildebeest crossing, something I’ve always wanted to see.

"The whole trip was fantastic from start to finish, with many great memories along the way. Ulusaba was Ulusaba - first class service from the moment you get up to the time you go to bed. It could not be faulted. The game sightings that we had on safari were the best I have ever experienced - it is hard to beat seeing a pride of 17 lions sunbathing after a feast of buffalo! 

Mauritius was everything that we wanted it to be - relaxing and great weather. The flights and transfers/airport assistance were all excellent too, with people being where we expected them to be at the right times.

So, a huge thank you again to you for putting it all together and ensuring that we were able to travel stress free, knowing that everything was taken care of.

Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful holiday for us.  We had an amazing time in Cape Town and saw all we wanted to and visited some memorable restaurants.  The apartment in Camps Bay worked out really well as did the car hire.

The three nights in Shamwari exceeded all expectations - it was incredible.  Our rooms in Long Lee Manor were like suites, the food and service second to none and the game drives were just mind blowing.

" I am delighted to tell you that our Australian holiday went perfectly. All flights, cars and hotels were there as planned. The Outback Spirit Kimberley Adventure was excellent – even if, at one overnight stop,  we had to share the loo with a green frog!. I would, without hesitation, recommend Outback  Spirit. With only 20 in the party, all of a similar age and background, we were all able to bond which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable.

"Emirates Business Class flights were great and would definitely use them again.

Botswana - Matusha lovely. We had a really good time. Guiding very good –Would definitely recommend it. 

Lebala and Lagoon. Marvellous. Would go back tomorrow and we wish we could.
We saw great game on this holiday across the board particularly at the Kwara camps. I think it was the best I have been on from that point of view. We had a really brilliant holiday, and the phrase "good old Glynis" was heard more than once."

We were very impressed with Bongani and got to see the Big 5 plus lots of other wildlife. The lodge was great and the people were brilliant! Mozambique was also terrific. The journey to the lodge was fascinating and the Machangulo lodge was lovely. I have not downloaded my photo’s yet but will send you some once I have sorted them out.

"A simple 'thank you' to Tailor Made Holidays just doesn't seem enough! Our family trip to Thailand to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary was the most amazing trip yet, and after relying on Tailor Made to arrange our special holidays for the last 10 years, I knew it would be extraordinary. Bangkok never ceases to enchant and the location, rooms and services of the Peninsula Hotel were the icing on the cake. However, the high point of the trip was definitely the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort - oh how I wish we had been able to have few more days there! Tailor Made arranged everything for us in advance, not just getting us to our Thai destinations in style, but all our trips and activities too. The personally guided tours around Bangkok and its temples were fascinating, but the opportunity to be a Mahout for the day and ride the elephants into the Mekong river will remain with me and the rest of family forever! When our next trip comes around, I'll once again be contacting Grant and Glyn as the simple truth is, I wouldn't trust it to anyone else."

We loved all the accommodation that you arranged in the Kruger especially the bushveld camps. We loved Rissington and had a long chat with the owner, who sends his regards. The “loft apartment” at the Crystal was also great, with a view to die for – not literally of course! We sat for hours just watching the waves come in.

“Oh my word, where to start. I know we had planned everything to the very last detail and thought it would be amazing but EVERTHING was beyond our expectations and absolutely perfect. To start with the safari and Leopard Hills - This was everything we could have asked for and more. The location was beautiful, the accommodation and food was 5* luxury and the staff, and our game driver/guide were fantastic.  The animals we saw were unbelievable, baby leopards, twin baby elephant's, the big 5 and more. We cannot recommend it highly enough. 

 

The Maldives - again absolutely stunning. We were treated like royalty and we loved the accommodation and the island. The snorkeling was lovely and we did a fantastic dive on the house reef. Again we can't fault any of it and would return tomorrow!

Glynis.... We have had the most amazing honeymoon and thank you so much for helping us organise it all. There were little touches both in South Africa and the maldives as honeymoon treats which completely made our holiday. 

 

We will definitely be in touch in the future and really appreciate all your help and nd hard work.
